It is located in downtown kalamazoo, on academy street, opposite to bronson park with the kalamazoo county building
This sculpture is dedicated to disabled veterans, please note the absence of arms.
"May the courage and faithfulness of those whom we honor and memorialize in these statues become a living legacy in the heart of those who view them, that the worthy hopes for which they suffered may find new champions. Make us grateful, keep us free and give us peace
